Residential Care Home

At Rayners each bed sitting room is fully furnished to a very high standard. We do however, encourage residents to bring items of their own furniture. Each of the forty four suites have large picture windows and a high percentage of our rooms have either toilet or bathroom/ wet shower room facilities ensuite. We now have twenty-three ground floor rooms which boasts their own patio doors onto communal gardens or private patios and these have been very well received by new residents and relatives alike. All bedrooms come provided with a television aerial socket and telephone point, should a resident wish to have their own telephone line installed. The vast majority of residents prefer the added security of an assisted bath and Rayners bathrooms are equipped with the latest high tech equipment, including the very popular ‘spa baths’.

All suites including bathrooms, toilets and lounge areas are served by a comprehensive emergency call system so that assistance is always readily at hand, if required. Likewise, all areas of Rayners, are serviced by complimentary wi-fi. The first floor is easily accessible via our five-person lift, for those who prefer we also have a stair lift.

Our carefully selected team, on duty 24 hours, is headed by our Director of Care, a trained Nurse, who has many years experience caring for the elderly, she is therefore fully aware of both their physical and emotional needs. The Team is managed on a Daily basis by our experienced Registered Managers, Heads of Care, Care Managers and Shift Supervisors.

The spacious lounge and dining room has large glazed areas, which open out onto the terrace and landscaped gardens with many rare and beautiful shrubs. Walks in the grounds are made easy by the gradual pathways, which surround the gardens; they will take you past the tropical bird aviary and the cold water fishpond.

We have our very own hairdressing salon. Situated on the ground floor this superb facility can accommodate up to three residents at a time.  For social functions and for residents/relatives to enable themselves to get a drink a bar was installed, which has a complimentary bean to cup coffee machine.

Our Long Stay Fees per week, range from £1300 per person.

Our Short Stay Fees are charged at the above rate plus £150 per week
