Different ways to navigate the site
The site can be easily navigated from the links at the top of the page for users with a mouse and keyboard.
“Access keys” have been included to assist users with disabilities when navigating their way through the web site. Essentially keyboard shortcuts, access keys provide quick and easy access to common pages without the need for a mouse.
Skip navigation
A skip navigation facility has been provided on this site for the benefit of users with screen readers.
It can be implemented by using the skip navigation access key combination CTRL, ALT and S depending on which particular browser you are using.
Implementing skip navigation on any given page allows you to bypass the navigation areas and go directly to that page’s main content.
Access keys
The following access keys are active on all pages of the Climbing Frames UK website:
- 0 - Access to Accessibility
- 1 – Access to Customer Login
- 2 – Access to Customer Registration
- 3 – Access to About Us navigation
- 6 – Access to Forgotten Password
- C – Access to the Top Navigation Menu, tab can be used to navigate through remaining links.
- G – Access to Checkout
- J – Access to Price Range Navigation, tab can be used to navigate through reamining links.
- M – Access to Product Range Navigation, tab can be used to navigate through remaining links.
- V – Access to View Cart
- W – Access to Wish ListÂ
- X – Access to the Language select menu
- Z – Access to Forms (Customer Registration, Call Back Request, Product Search), tab can then be used to access remaining form elements
Cross browser support
Use of access keys differs according to browser:
Internet Explorer 5+: Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key, then press ENTER
Internet Explorer 4: Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key
Internet Explorer 5+ for Mac: Hold down the CTRL key and select the number/letter of the access key
Internet Explorer 4.5 for Mac: Access keys are not supported
Mozilla: Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key
Netscape 6+: Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key
Netscape earlier versions: Access keys are not supported
PDF documents
